Prodius Enterprise is the independent AI research lab of Cristian Prodius — a one-person operation studying how AI systems find, read, and cite the web. The name is older than the mission — Prodius Enterprise started as something else and became the thing I actually wanted to build: a place to do the work and show it.
One person, evenings and weekends
The lab is me, Cristian Prodius. By day I work at Ahrefs; the lab is where I run the experiments that don’t fit inside a day job — on my own time, infrastructure, and budget.
Independent by design
Nothing here speaks for my employer. Questions, methods, data, and conclusions are mine, and when a result is inconvenient for someone — including me — it gets published anyway.
Published in full, funded by the work
The research stays free and published in full — methods, data, and what didn’t work. The lab pays for itself through a small amount of client work (work with me), not ads or sponsors — and results get published even when they’re inconvenient, including for me.
